Surrounded by the peaks of the Mátra mountains the lake Sástó lies in the height of 536 m. The 2 acre lake offers possibility of boating and fishing at summertime and skating in winter as a unique recreation.
50 m from the campsite there is a 53 m high lookout tower which offers a stunning view the surrounding settlements and Kékestető which is highest point of Hungary.
